Built in 2002, the Hilton Cologne is a contemporary designer boutique hotel situated in the centre of Cologne, 200 metres from the famous Dom Cathedral. This seven=floor property features 296 guestrooms decorated in hues of cream, white, turtle-dove grey and chocolate brown, with contemporary furnishings and parquet floors. The Konrad restaurant serves international dishes and regional specialties, and guests can watch their food being prepared in the show kitchen. DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Regional and high-speed European network trains serve the airport. Taxis are readily available outside Terminals 1 and 2. Airport shuttles are available to/from Cologne and Bonn every 15 minutes during the week, and every 30 minutes at the weekend. The main railway station is just 100 metres from the hotel. All transport facilities (bus, tram, tube and the RE (RegionalExpress), RB (RegionalBahn) and S (S-Bahn) trains) can be used with compound tickets, which are issued by the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS). Besides these there are train-only tickets. Ticket-vending machines at Cologne's train stations issue both kinds of tickets. At tram/tube/bus stations, only compound tickets (VRS) are available.
Driving directions: From the airport, head towards the L84 and merge onto the A59 towards Koln. Then take the Centrum exit and continue along the B55. Keep right and go onto the Kleine Witschgasse. Turn left onto Holzmarkt/B51 and take a slight left onto Trankgasse. Turn right onto Marzellenstrasse. The hotel is signposted after the roundabout.
